Earwigs are a group of members of FHGC who play every Tuesday and Thursday morning. We meet early morning and tee off at 8-30am. We are one of the few groups that try to finish before lunch, giving options for the rest of the day.

The golf format is typically Stableford scoring in 3-ball format, or 4-ball format. We hold 11 monthly Stableford competitions and one knockout a year. There are also 9 trophy competitions. On 3 of the 9 occasions a year we hold a lunch where partners, past members and friends are invited.

The emphasis is on social and enjoyable golf with a small edge of competition, but also an easy way of maintaining your club handicap through the competitions.

 We come from all sorts of backgrounds, and our handicaps currently range from 12 to 36, but with no limits. Our ages range from 60 to mid 80's. Many of us will stay for lunch after play.
